Описание: This is Simpson's new Special Steel Moment frame being subjected to a strong motion recording of the 1979 Imperial Valley earthquake. The test set-up includes loading the frame with dead and live loads to simulate a realistic installation of the frame in a building, and mass attached to each floor to represent the seismic dead load tributary to the frame.
