Crossrail is finally about to open and so to are the stations and they are looking to the future not just in their designs.
For those of you that know you history and British history, the UK has had many modern firsts, from the first modern sewer system, underground system, iron bridges and more, but they never really thought about future population growth or size in transport increases and so are outdated, but not Crossrail stations which are looking to the next hundred years from now.
About time. Engineers and builders should always think about future populations and growth , not just the here and now.
