Today we are walking through an incredible home under construction, a home designed by Architect Amit Upadhye that is build almost entirely out of steel and concrete. Born and raised in India, Amit has been drawn to tasteful architecture from a young age. His inspiring environment not only played a pivotal role in his formative years as an architecture student but has shaped his design philosophy today. After working with numerous renowned architecture firms around the world, Amit decided to begin his own practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. The project we walk through today Amit was faced with many challenges. A desert wash runs right through the center of the lot, so Amit cleverly used steel to overcome this challenge. This video is about looking at architecture through a different lens, and the making of a timeless building that will stand the test of time.
