A #TBT to earlier this summer I was in Hershey, PA and one of the places I visited was Troegs Independent Brewing. Troegs is a family-owned brewery known for scratch beers like Mad Elf, Troegenator, and best seller Perpetual IPA. The brewery offers both guided and self-guided tours. We spent the evening there tasting a flight of some of their craft beers and enjoying dinner. We were there during Christmas in July so I could get some fun darker beers. I ordered a flight with their Grand Cacao, Mad Elf, Mad Elf Grand Cru and and Bourbon Barrel Mad Elf. They were quite tasty. The brewery has a snack bar featuring locally sourced ingredients. Their menu contains both year round and rotating seasonal items. We ordered the brisket sandwich, crispy red snapper, and the charcuterie board and everything we ate was delicious.
