➣ One of Death Valley’s hidden gems is the Artists Palette painted hills. It is truly a majestic site to behold. You cannot visit Death Valley without making a stop here. So make sure you add it to your itinerary when you visit the Death Valley National Park. Artist’s Palette is a small area on the west facing side of the Black Mountains noted for a variety of rock colors. These colors are caused by the oxidation of different metals found in the rock formations.
