Triplet rolls aren't much different from regular 16th note or duple meter rolls. What makes Triplet rolls different is the location of the pulse in your hands. For 16th note rolls, the beat usually falls on the right hand, but for triplet rolls, they alternate between the right and left.
Once you are able to get a feel for the pulse or the beat alternating between your hands, then you should have a fairly basic grasp of how to master triplet rolls.
To play faster triplet rolls, try practicing with a triplet check first and then add in the diddles. Try this out and see if it helps you out with your triplet rolls!
