Ingredients:
Just over 1 cup of oval rice cakes
1/2-1 stalk of green onions
2 baby carrots julienned
1 egg
red jalapeno *optional
dried seaweed/nori for garnish

Soup Base:
1/4 large onion
5-6 small pieces of kelp
couple pieces of Korean Mu (radish)
5-6 piece of anchovy (leave out if vegetarian)
few green onion or leek roots

1/4 lb beef shank or brisket
Beef marinade:
1.5 tsp. soy sauce
a bit of minced garlic
sprinkle some cane sugar to taste
1 tsp sesame oil
Taste and pepper if desired

Soup seasoning
2-3 tsp of soup soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
