Day 7: Impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte (5/5) | ABS-CBN News

Описание: Impeachment trial presiding officer Francis "Chiz" Escudero granted on Monday (July 20) the prosecution's request to issue a subpoena for some bank records of Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband Manases Carpio in relation to the second article of impeachment.

Additionally, Escudero also granted a subpoena granted a subpoena for Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) documents of 19 entities, and a partnership linked to Duterte.

The subpoena for the tax records of the vice president was likewise granted, but Escudero clarified that the issuance of subpoena is merely preliminary and does not authorize the disclosure of tax records into evidence.
