No - 01 Jais sledder

The Jais Sledder sits comfortably on a low-slung track. You’ll reach up to 40 kilometres per hour as you hurtle down the Hajar mountain range swerving through glorious panoramas with views of the spectacular coastline. The speed seems amplified ten-fold because you are sitting so close to the ground. The fully-controllable ride takes about eight minutes to cover 1,840 exhilarating metres of hairpin curves and undulating waves.

The Jais Sledder is built to the highest safety and technical standards and adheres to the ISO 19202 criteria, and the latest design technology specific to planning track, design and calculation, manufacturing, build, and testing requirements for summer sledding activities. The sleds are designed to seat two people comfortably, one in front and the other in the back. You are safely secured into the sled, and each sledder has access to the braking system.
You can purchase Jais Sledder tickets in bundles of one or three from the ticket counter at the Jais Welcome Centre; don’t worry, you can always go back for more! You can choose to share the experience with a friend or a member of your family or go superhero-solo. Head to the mountains and enjoy the various thrilling and award-winning experiences, including the Jais Flight, the world’s longest zipline, Jais Sky Tour, and an overnight stay at Bear Grylls Explorers Camp. The highest restaurant in the UAE 1484 by Puro serves delicious fayre throughout the day.

Opening hours: Tuesday-Thursday from 11:00 AM till 05:00 PM | Friday-Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Last ride is at 5:00 PM (ticket counter can be closed at 04:00 PM – 04:30 PM depending on the queue)

The UAE's highest peak, Jebel Jais is part of the spectacular Hajar mountain range that were formed over 70 million years ago in the eastern part of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates and Oman. Towering at 1,934 m above sea level, Jebel Jais boasts breath-taking vistas and thrilling adventures for every visitor.
Jais Viewing Deck Park is the perfect place to unwind for those looking for a more laidback experience. The park features seven viewing decks with twelve binoculars overlooking superb vistas of the Arabian Gulf and Hajar Mountain valleys all from 1,250 meters above sea level.
