He emphasized that fertilizer subsidies are meant to help the poor, not to benefit a few individuals.
He also raised serious concerns about corruption, stating that corruption has greatly affected Malawians by draining public resources meant for development, agriculture, health, and social support. According to DC Bon Kalindo, corruption continues to worsen poverty and suffering across the country.
