Poynton Pool, Windgather & Pott Shrigley walk ¦ East Cheshire Ramble

Описание: I this video you can join me for a nice easy ramble of around 8.5 miles. We start from the car park at the south end of Poynton Pool and gradually ascend up to the Macclesfield Canal along the route of one of the old coal wagon inclines. Turning right along the canal, we proceed as far as Higher Poynton marina, before leaving the canal and ascending up to Windgather. Around 100 yards or so inside Lyme Park, we veer right (or south-west) and drop down towards Pott Shrigley.

Eventually, another right turn drops us down past Redacre Farm and back to the canal. We proceed back past Higher Poynton Marina and back down Prince's incline before cutting to the right to take a more direct route back to Poynton Pool.
