Based on the very popular 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul the previous year, Konami let avid sports fans play out their fantasies as sports legends in their fourth Olympic sports game which was later localized as the second Track and Field game on NES.
Even though I'm no sports gamer, one truly has to appreciate how beautiful this game looks. I have no idea why they chose those weird weird lens filters. I had that something was wrong with my VHS tape, but double checking other sources, that's how the ad was filmed.
