Just Getting Started is back as the second half of the World Cup season kicks off in Les Gets. The behind-the-scenes series follows the Norco Race Division crew through the mud, the chaos, and the push for the podium as the season heats up.

This weekend brought one of the wildest tracks yet. Rain poured, ruts deepened, and the course turned into a mud bath that challenged even the best.

“That’s the biggest challenge. You might doubt yourself that the speed’s not there but then you’re actually looking at the section and the speed’s brilliant, the pace is there. And everyone’s in the same boat.”

Gracey Hemstreet rose to the occasion, taking her third World Cup win of the season. After sitting in seventh at the first split, she made smart decisions on the lower half of the course and carried momentum where others struggled. It was a masterclass in control and confidence when conditions were anything but.

Lina Frener came out swinging too, finishing fourth with a ride that was smooth, fast, and fearless. She trusted her pace and let her natural strength do the talking.

Danny Hart was fresh off breaking a couple ribs three weeks ago—you can’t hold this one back from getting between the tape.

“They told me it would take eight weeks to heal and I said, ‘Well, that’s not going to be the case.’ The conditions could be good because it’ll slow things down, and I don’t want to put myself out of action for next week.”

Lucas showed up excited to tackle the wet conditions, which can’t be said for everyone.

“The main thing is enjoying myself, riding in the mud. It was fun to ride in the wet again because we haven’t really done it all season except for Poland.”

Bodhi was also looking forward to the track, unfortunately crashing in practice and injuring his thumb, having to sit out quali's.
