People stage protest in support of Article 35A,Complete shutdown being observed in Doda

Описание: Ahead of Supreme court hearing on Article 35-A, Various organisation of Doda stage demonstration protest in Doda.

As per details, The protest was being organised under the banner of Joint Civil Society Doda, Jammu and Kashmir along with various organisation Senior Citizens Council, Fourm for Peace & Civil Libraries, Trade Unions, Chinab Citizen Forum, Contractors Association, Private School Association, Doda Welfare Society, Haq-o-Insaaf, Bar Association Members and District Rural Youth Welfare Association.

Scores of People from Doda district assembeled at Doda and held a strong demonstration protest against any attempt to abrogate Article 35-A which bar outsiders from buying land in

Protest was started from Municipal Committee Office Doda were shouting slogans and carrying banners/playcards which clearly indicates to save Article 35-A.
The rally passing through from main market of Doda town and culminated at Old Bus stand Doda. Markets in Doda town including adjoining areas are closed. Private School and other commerical establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.

In speech, Several senior citizens and other said that Article 35-A and 370 is our property and it the prime responsibility of every citizen of Jammu & Kashmir to protect it. He said no one can withdrwan Article 35-A, If this happen, all the people of Jammu & Kashmir are ready to defend the Article 35-A with their blood. Civil Society Doda warns Central govt that any attempt to dilute the state subject law would not be tolerated. He appealed the people to get united amd put political differnces aside.
