Описание: In this episode we are cycling 34 Km in total to visit Star Of The Sea statue and the North Bull Island.

The history of the Our Lady, Star of the Sea statue is relatively unknown. The statue was sculpted by Wicklow artist Cecil King and unveiled and blessed on 24 September 1972 by Archbishop John Charles McQuaid. The structure comprises a crowned statue of Mary standing on a globe which is on top of a trio of concrete pillars.

Bull Island is a unique coastal environment on the north shore of Dublin Bay. The island became Ireland first bird sanctuary in 1931, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1981, and a National Nature Reserve in 1988. It contains a range of natural habitats including sand dunes and salt marshes. The long sandy beach on Bull Island is Dollymount Beach.
