Stanford University or Leland Stamford Junior University is one of the world's most prestigious universities and its sprawling green campus is rated as one of the world's most beautiful. It has seven schools: Business, Earth Science, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Sciences, Law and Medicine.
Stanford university is worth a visit for a visitor to San Francisco, with the Hoover Tower offering an astounding bird's-eye view of the magnificant campus and its surrounding.
