NovaStar’s 3D LED solution involves the following key components:
Video Output Source
A computer with DisplayPort 1.2 outputs a combined 8K × 1K video signal (left and right frames interlaced).
This signal simulates human binocular vision.
NovaStar Hardware Setup
NovaPro UHD Jr. processes and converts the video to a 4K × 1K @120Hz 3D source.
The signal is sent to the LED screen via standard NovaStar controller workflows.
3D Glasses Synchronization
EMT200 3D Emitter connects to the controller to transmit sync signals to active shutter glasses.
The glasses alternate between left and right eye views at high frequency, synchronized with the screen refresh rate.
Supported Controllers & Recommendations
If your screen is ≤ 4K × 1K, choose MCTRL 4K or NovaPro UHD Jr.
For zoom support, use UHD Jr.
For larger screen sizes, opt for H series controllers.
