In this video, I give Tannie an extensive wash, I begin by washing the chassis / undercarriage followed up by an engine wash and then finally, exterior and interior wash. This big wash is a great way to prepare for a trip in my opinion. Not only do you keep all the drivetrain components clean but you also have a great opportunity to see if there's anything wrong with the 4WD before the long drives - Bonus point - helps a lot with rust prevention! The rest of the wash is just nice to have a clean car for those long open roads, who wants to be spending hours in a dirty car? Not me.
Soon we will be getting the Hilux dirty again as I'm heading to the Kruger and to Mozambique to start off my full time overlanding travel adventure in South Africa.
