Battersea Power Station is a decommissioned Grade II* listed coal-fired power station, located on the south bank of the River Thames, in Nine Elms, Battersea. It’s one of London’s most famous landmarks, having opened to the public on October 14th after being transformed, following a £9 billion investment by Malaysia-back developers into a mixed-use space comprising of a shopping centre (containing over 100 shops, restaurants, cafes, leisure and entertainment venues), offices (including Apple’s new London Campus) and residential apartments, as well as a unique chimney lift experience offering 360-degree panoramic views of London’s skyline.

Light art pieces: ‘Badstop’, ‘Eternal Sundown’, ‘Moonburn’, ‘My Light Is Your Light’, ‘Rotifers’, ‘End Over End’, ‘Neighborhood’, and ‘Strangers In The Light’.

Sights seen include: Battersea Power Station Underground Station, apartment blocks, Battersea Power Station (landmark riverside 4-chimneyed Victorian power station), The Coaling Jetty on the River Thames, Turbine Hall A & B, Control Room B bar, and the Electric Boulevard.
