On the occasion of 25th Vi.Vi.D Smruti Sangeet Samaroh with the theme Bhairav te Bhairavi, the stage was graced by the performance of Aditya Modak. He performed Raag Gaud Sarang. He showcased a traditional khayal “Paati Jhar Gaiyya” in Vilambit Jhumra followed by Madhyalaya Teentaal bandish composed and popularised by Pandit Kumar Gandharva “Piya Basera”; ending with a traditional drut khayal set to Ektaal “Mande khabare” He then performed Raag Desi. The recital involved a vilambit tilwada bandish “Mhare dere aawo” and a drut teental khayal “Balma gayila”.
The accompanists for this act were Abhinay Ravande (Harmonium) and Rohit Majumdar (Tabla).
