This tutorial is designed for installing adhesive boat lettering.

For this install, you’ll need a squeegee, tape measure, masking tape, and a knife. As you’ll see in the video, vinyl can be easy to install so if you opt out of having one of our installers do it then this video is here to help. Once installed, the vinyl cannot be adjusted however so accuracy will be key.

First, you'll need to clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol.
Next, tack up the graphic and measure that it's level and centered. Once you have that adjusted, create a hinge at the top using masking tape.
Then, begin to remove the lettering from the release liner. For a wider graphic, you may have to cut it into section.
Begin to peel away the backing and apply the graphic using the squeegee starting from left to right.
Go over the graphic once more to ensure it's applied evenly and without bubbles.
Finally, remove the masking top layer slowly.
