Starting with placing a heavy-duty steel cage into the metal mold to ensure load-bearing capacity, the workers proceed to pour fresh concrete. After the concrete is compacted, leveled, and smoothed with a hand trowel, the craftsmen perform a vertical mold-stripping technique to detach the component immediately without deforming the cast block.

📈The primary purpose of this immediate-stripping concrete casting method is to optimize productivity and save costs in precast component production. This method not only helps streamline mass production by allowing continuous reuse of the mold but also creates high-durability finished products with sharp surfaces, ready for infrastructure projects such as manhole covers or drainage ditch slabs. Thanks to the sturdy rebar system and convenient lifting loops, these concrete slabs ensure high load-bearing capacity and are easy to transport and install quickly at construction sites.

💥Key considerations

Cleaning and lubricating the mold: After each casting, the mold walls need to be cleaned of concrete debris and coated with a layer of anti-stick oil to ensure a smooth surface and easy demolding for the next casting.

Flat production surface: The casting area must be leveled and lined with tarpaulin/nylon to prevent sudden water loss from the concrete into the ground and to avoid warping of the newly formed structure.

Mold lifting technique: The worker must lift the mold vertically with even force to avoid impacting the sharp edges of the freshly poured concrete slab.
