Exploring Treatment Options for Difficult-to-Treat Depression - Expert Webinar
Clinicians, practitioners, researchers, policymakers and people with lived experience joined us for an in-depth webinar on difficult-to-treat depression on Monday 6th October. The event was hosted by André Tomlin from The Mental Elf and presented in partnership with Prof Anthony Cleare and colleagues from King's College London.
The webinar featured insightful presentations from experts at King's College London, the University of Exeter, and the University of Oxford, who covered a range of lived experience and treatment options. The audience learned about the latest research on medications, psychotherapies, brain stimulation, nutrition, exercise, ECT and novel treatments like psychedelic-assisted therapy and ketamine. This comprehensive discussion provided hope and practical solutions for those struggling with 'treatment-resistant depression'.
