Paarl Mountain: A Local's Guide to Gabbema Trail - 🇿🇦

Описание: The Gabbema DoorDrift Trail runs parallel to the Gabbema DoorDrift street that leads to the Taal Monument until the road veers to the left. From there you can either take a left to the start of the untarred road (part of Jan Phillips Road) that then goes past the Victoria Dam or take the foot path to the right that cuts through the bush and urban forest and then meets up on the untarred road as above. Taking this right turn is a beautiful footpath that meanders up and down through thick bush and mixed forest and at times intercepting a less slightly used overgrown mountain bike trail.

The start of this popular trail is where Flambeau street meets Louvre street in Courtrai, Paarl, Western Cape. You will follow the trail and by Victoria Dam cut down to Jan Phillips Road that leads back to the parking area by Frater Square. While you at Frater Square make sure to visit the coffee shop and restaurant to freshen up. More detail of the trail on the vlog.
