India’s streets are filled with endless chaos, from rallies, traffic jams, personal events to the growing menace of stray dogs. Recently, the Honourable Supreme Court ordered that Delhi’s street dogs must be relocated to shelter homes to ensure public safety.
But instead of supporting the decision, many people are protesting against it. Why? Why is every issue in India taken to the streets? Why can’t we respect public spaces as common spaces?
