True consistency in golf is incredibly hard to achieve, but there are certain elements of your game that should never change. One of the most critical is ball position. If your ball position moves even an inch, it changes your swing plane, your impact point, and your ball flight.

The "Constant Ball Position" Secret
Chris demonstrates how to use the dual-rod capability of the pathpal to lock in your 7-iron setup:

The Setup: Place one alignment rod in the pathpal coming off your lead (left) heel. Place the second rod just a couple of inches behind that.

The Problem: Most amateurs "eyeball" their ball position. This leads to the ball creeping too far forward or back, forcing the body to compensate mid-swing.

The Goal: By creating a physical "slot" for the ball, you ensure that every shot returns to the same place.

The Result: When you eliminate the variable of ball position, you can finally focus on your swing mechanics. This is the foundation of tour-level ball striking.
