DWP Compensation Recovery Unit (CRU) - have you heard of it?

Описание: Only applicable if you make a compensation claim following injury. It is a way to regain the social benefits from the 3rd party as it is their fault it had to be paid out, such as SSP.

The CRU claims back any benefit you were paid for compensation from the 3rd party (this can be deducted from the total amount awarded), but also makes you responsible for reporting any money you get to DWP or housing.
