The Boulton-Paul Defiant is one of those quirky British aircraft that has perhaps unfairly attained a less than favourable reputation over the years.
In this Unsung Heroes episode, Fired Up! tells the true story of the Defiant; from its early inception to the waning days of the Second World War, and even beyond.
James Young takes us through the often untold heroism of the crews of the "Daffy", as well as the innovative Boulton-Paul company.
