In this video I will show you how I laid the flex-track and Woodland Scenic roadbed on my latest L-shaped layout, the Santa Fe Northern Rail Road. The layout plan was first printed out full size on computer paper, then the roadbed was glued in place securing it with Elmer's white glue. Then after drying, the flex-track was glued to that with Allene's Tacky Glue. I used that rather than the more typically used Woodland Scenic Foam Glue. Both seemed equivalent. This is the first of three videos on track laying on the SFN RR.
The next two will deal with bujilding the two train yards and sidings, and then cutting the support foam and raising parts of the layout to differnent heights.
