He will do pit stops for lunch, gum boots/winter clothing rentals, help arrange special vehicle rental if required from Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Tangmarg and later if you are going to Srinagar (which we did), he will help in sightseeing at a nominal price

He will help negotiate with locals wherever you want to, specially at Gulmarg Gondola snow sports and activities, provide a brief history about every place, help click your pics and videos in the breathtaking snow clad mountain range (which is a much needed requirement for couples travelling, a break from the selfie mode!).

The 1st ever Khelo India Winter Games were being held during the time when we were there (March 1st week, 2020) and we could catch a glimpse of a few banners and loads of players who had come to participate.
Gulmarg is a very good weekend getaway for anyone with Srinagar airport being the much needed closest fly-in point. Gulmarg is equally beautiful across the year, with enough snow in winter and enough greenery in summer!
