Описание: CORRECTION: I mentioned that Jewish children were expected to memorize the entire OT by the time they were 15. I could not find the source to validate that claim, but I did find one to validate another that I believe I got confused about. The source (found below) outlines how Jewish boys were expected to memorize the entire Torah by the time they were 10. Same point stands - oral tradition was a big deal!
