I noticed Athena's tail was hanging down with no movement and she appeared to have discomfort when sitting. I have no idea how it happened but I would guess that she may have fallen down some steps while she had the zoomies. Luckily her tail wasn't broken and with the medicine from the vet it is hopeful that her tail will make a complete recovery.
Please note that if your cat should ever have a tail injury, it is important to make sure that they are still able to use the litter box. That would be a sign of a much more serious injury!
