Meet Larry Sells, The "Voice" of Severna Park
Larry is a living example that you don't need to be from here to jump in and make a major impact on your community. Originally from Indiana, Larry was transferred to this area 35 years ago with a corporate job. With young kids in tow it was the perfect place to start putting down roots and those roots have grown so deep that he is an immovable fixture in this community and is often referred to as The Mayor of Severna Park.
Many have known Larry as the Chief Operating Officer of the local newspaper, The Severna Park Voice. Many have known Larry as the announcer for the Severna Park Falcons. Many have known Larry as a fierce advocate for small business in our community. Many have known Larry as a serial volunteer, board member and philanthropist for non-profits in our area. Many have known Larry and Robin as parents who lost a child way too soon and are now on a path to cure Neuroendocrine Tumor Cancer.
But, ALL (and I mean ALL) know Larry as a positive, energetic, encouraging, passionate neighbor who makes this community a much better place for ALL. Folks like Larry are super glue to our community.
This world needs more Larry Sells......."jump in, get involved".
