Great Performance Modification. The McLeod RST twin disc clutch is for 2007–2009 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustangs equipped with a TR-6060 six-speed 26-spline manual transmission. This will be a replacement clutch for your factory unit and offer the ability to support a substantial increase in power. The McLeod RST clutch is rated as a stage-3 clutch replacement and is rated to support up to 800hp. This is enough to handle mid to high level engine modifications that demand more from the Mustang’s clutch, to properly delivery the increase in power on a regular and consistent basis. In addition, this new clutch will also improve all around drivability, by replacing the factory clutch, which is known to be problematic, especially after some slight modification.

Durable Construction. The McLeod RST twin clutch is rated to handle up to 800hp and includes two organic friction discs, floater plate, adapter ring and pilot tool. It also features an 8-bolt billet steel flywheel and the overall disc dimensions are 9-11/16-inches x 26T x 1-1/18-inches.

High-level Installation. The installation of the McLeod RST twin disc clutch is straightforward but requires a high level of mechanical experience and is recommended for installers that have experience with the clutch installations. Overall the installation will require about 5-hours of labor if you’re considering having it done by a professional shop.
