Robert Harris, Special Guest
Robert Harris is the Executive Director and General Counsel to the Hawai‘i State Ethics Commission and its roughly 60,000 state employees. He previously served as a Director of Policy for Sunrun and the Director of the Sierra Club, Hawai‘i Chapter. He received a B.A. from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa in Environmental Science/Chemistry, and his J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai‘i.

Lisa Maruyama is a Hawai‘i-based nonprofit leader, strategist, and facilitator with over two decades of experience strengthening mission-driven organizations. As former President & CEO of the Hawai‘i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations (HANO), she advanced statewide advocacy, leadership development, and sector capacity building.Today, she advises boards, executives, funders, and government partners on strategy,
governance, and organizational change—bringing a systems-level lens grounded in Hawai‘i’s values and community realities.
