Oranienburg is a town in Brandenburg, Germany. It is the capital of the district of Oberhavel.
Anyone driving through Oranienburg cannot miss the castle.
The gleaming white building represents one of the great epochs of Prussian history, the reign of the Great Elector Friedrich Wilhelm.

Today Oranienburg is a lively and lively city, which can be reached by regional express or S-Bahn in around half an hour from Berlin.
The Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route also runs through Oranienburg.

The green city on the Havel is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state of Brandenburg -
with two museums in the oldest baroque castle in the Mark Brandenburg, with the Sachsenhausen memorial and museum or the Germendorf
zoo and leisure park.

and festival hall with a varied, top-class program.

The castle harbor on the Havel with its berths and the motorhome parking space was also built in the course of the state
horticultural show.

Oranienburg is characterized on the one hand by the Prussian tolerance at the time of the great elector and his wife
Louise-Henriette of Orange, on the other hand by the darkest chapter in German history when the SS resided in the castle and the
Sachsenhausen concentration camp wrote gruesome history.
