In this video, I play Lantern Control in a Modern League on Magic: The Gathering Online.

Lantern Control is a unique artifact-based control/prison deck that seeks to win with its titular card selection engine, built from the combo of Lantern of Insight plus mill rocks like Pyxis of Pandemonium and Codex Shredder. This engine provides Lantern with the agency to control what cards, and therefore what decisions, each player has access to. In this way, Lantern can reduce its opponent's agency until they simply cannot make any decisions that would help them win the game. When this happens, Lantern doesn't need a win condition; it just wins by default because it can no longer lose.
