The SkinVive treatment itself is relatively quick. Patients have the option to apply a topical numbing cream prior to the procedure but numbing isn’t required. Your provider will begin by drawing a grid pattern across both cheeks indicating where the injections will be placed.
They then use a very small needle and inject the hyaluronic acid microdroplets in small aliquots across your cheeks. Some patients will see immediate results, but the full effects typically take between 2 – 4 weeks. These results will last for about 6 months which makes Skinvive so patients can have the treatment twice a year for maintenance.
