Welcome to my channel. I originally started this channel during COVID to connect with my grandchildren, but many others have enjoyed my projects. I am a lifetime woodworker / weekend warrior who enjoys challenges. Since retiring I have enjoyed making reproductions of 18th century furniture. I admire the skill of those past master craftsmen. Studying each piece I reproduce has taught me more about furniture design and construction than the previous 50+ years. I use a mix of power tools and hand tools (I’ve only been using hand tools since the mid 2000’s). Hand tools will open a new world in your furniture making. Pieces can have curves and angles, things that machines don’t always do well.
