UPDATE: Per John Miller, the debris seen washed up on the beach at the 23:22 mark is "a piece of a steamboat, what you see is the remains of the paddlewheel, or what we called a "Brush Pile" on the steamboats on the Mississippi, Ohio, Illinois Rivers, etc., you see the shaft, flanges and the crank. The pieces of lumber that are bolted to the steel flange is what are called "Arms" the bucket board was then bolted to the arms, using stirrup bolts, or better known as U bolts." Thanks John !
