Today is our last day in Lombok we drive from Sekotong along the west coast to Senggigi on the bike, there we returned the bike and got a taxi to Bangsal port to get a ferry to Gili Air which is one out of three of the Gili islands. We waited for around half hr for the speed boat ferry, the journey itself only took 10min.
As we arrive on Gili Air the familiar sounds of horse and cart with the bells and sandy roads fill our hearts with joy. We spend the next 24hrs cycling around this lovely island, for the first time, and end up having a lovely pizza at Mama Pizza watching the sunset.
This island really is wonderful and worth a visit.
