Описание: A drive through the 10 counties that form the The Central Kenya Economic Block (CEKEB) shows a region that is undergoing major infrastructural transformation with mega projects in progress . The construction of the 48 Kilometer Kennol-Marua dual carriage highway at a cost of 14 billion shillings, and the construction of the 540 kilometers of Mau Mau roads at a cost of 30 billion shillings are among flagship projects being witnessed in the block alongside the construction of dams that could see thousands of acres put under irrigation to boost food supply. Our reporter Martin Munene toured some of these projects and filed this report.
