The court measures 30 feet wide (9.14 m) and 20 feet deep (6.10 m). Players strike the ball with an open hand or fist, keeping it alive before it bounces twice. You can hit it in the air or after one bounce.
It’s pure speed, angles, footwork, strategy, grit, and culture.

🧱 OFFICIAL RULES OF ONE-WALL HANDBALL

1. SERVICE

• Serve from behind the short line (20 ft / 6.10 m from the wall).
• Must hit wall → land past short line.
Faults:
• Short: before the line → second serve
• Long: past the back line → second serve
• Wide: outside sideline → out

2. RALLY

• Alternate hits using open hand or fist
• Ball must hit the wall before touching ground
• Only one bounce allowed
• No carries, scoops, throws, or double hits

3. SCORING

• Games to 21, win by 2
• Traditional NYC scoring: only server scores

4. BOUNDARIES & HINDERS

• Outside lines = out
• Blocking = hinder → replay
