P. gudipadu is a Village in Prakasam District dependent on agriculture, but due to the deficit rainfalls drought situation arose and people left the village for their livelihood. Horticulture and micro irrigation department under the Andhra Pradesh government stood as a support for farmers and gave financial assistance through different welfare schemes. And farmers saying due to drip irrigation they got benefited and leading a better livelihood.
