Описание: The Port of Colombo in Sri Lanka has become a central hub for regional maritime diplomacy following the concurrent arrivals of naval assets from both India and Pakistan. The Indian Navy Ship Airavat, a Shardul-class Landing Ship Tank, arrived for a scheduled operational turnaround. During its stay, the vessel delivered critical spare parts to the Sri Lanka Coast Guard ship Suraksha and participated in professional interactions alongside an environmental beach cleaning campaign.

Concurrently, the Sri Lanka Navy formally welcomed a Pakistan Navy contingent consisting of the frigates PNS Taimur and PNS Aslat, alongside the newly commissioned Chinese-made submarine PNS Hangor. The Pakistani units are undertaking a routine goodwill visit to fulfil replenishment and will conclude their deployment by engaging in a cooperative Passage Exercise alongside the Sri Lanka Navy.
