Here's the third of fifteen music videos I've made, this time dedicated to the #2 old iron himself, Edward. This was suggested by MeganekkoPlymouth241 (Thomas Presley) on DeviantArt as "Mr. Blue Sky" represents how Edward can bring a smile to everyone around him by sharing his kindness and optimism - even Gordon. And even when Edward's not around, he's someone we should never take for granted.
"Mr. Blue Sky" was the second single from the Electric Light Orchestra's seventh album Out of the Blue from 1977, reaching #6 in the United Kingdom Singles Chart and #35 in the United States Billboard Hot 100. It is the fourth and final track of Out of the Blue's "Concerto for a Rainy Day", taking up the entire third side on the LP. ELO frontman Jeff Lynne later re-recorded it for 2012's Mr. Blue Sky: The Very Best of Electric Light Orchestra under ELO. It has appeared in movies such as Megamind, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
