Описание: In 2025 Dr Wubin Zhuang was awarded a British Academy grant to research salon photography in South-East Asia in relation to decolonisation, nation-building during the Cold War focusing on Singapore, Malaya(sia), and Burma (Myanmar). This film features a Q+A between Dr Zhuang and Dr Michael Pritchard who discuss Zhuang's research into salon photography in these countries in the postwar period, along with the relationship of the Royal Photographic Society with these countries, and the British Council.
