Описание: We have been touring Cochrane, Alberta to give you a better idea on what each neighbourhood offers including accessibility, family-friendliness, and the general vibes.

Ep. 2: HEARTLAND

👉Family Friendly: 10/10 (majority of residents are families with kids).
👉Commuting to schools: 6/10 (No school as of right now in Heartland. However, the designated school for this area is nearby. A new school will most likely be built in 2030).
👉Amenities: 7/10 (Some amenities available nearby except a grocery store. However, there is Ruben’s Veggies for fresh produce in the area).
👉Accessibile to highway: 10/10 (Heartland is right off highway 1A for easy access to Calgary.
👉 Dog Friendly: 9/10 (There are some pathways and a dedicated dog park is coming soon).
👉Walkability: 8/10 (The amount of pathways is less than some other neighbourhoods. However, you can easily walk to West Terrace by using the trail across the train tracks and down to the river in about 6 minutes.
Quiet/calm: 10/10 (No through traffic. Most people driving in Heartland live there).
👉Variety of Housing: 8/10 (4 plex, townhomes, duplexes and single family homes).

The biggest takeaway? Heartland is an incredible neighbourhood for value. You can often find a great deal on a re-sale and newly built home! The streets are clean, modern and beautifully landscaped. Your kids will make friends here and you’ll love your neighbours.
