*General Notes / TL;DR*:
Good shave. My first try with Gentleman's Nod, and putting another favorite razor blade in the Hybrid.

Razor and Blade Notes - Gillette - Tech Hybrid ::: Gillette - Nacet (6 uses):
Excellent combo. Not a lot of blade feel, but clean shave anyway. Comfortable and close.

Soap Notes - Gentleman's Nod - Vincent (11):
Them: "Bergamot, Lavender, Bitter Almond, Cypress, and Vetiver"

Scent: Not much to perceive during the lather but maybe some bergamot/citrus and something else that could have been a bitter almond or vetiver... it was just too light to tell.

Scent Strength: 3/10, barely present during shaving.

Lather: unimpressive at this ratio. It did lay down a thin layer of protection, but on top of that was ... honestly... a below average foam. Light and airy, with only a watery type of slickness.

Fortunately that thin layer did a good job of protection, but there are just so many soaps with better foam and feel.

But... could be user error. I'll mix it richer next time and see what happens.

1/4 tsp soap
lightly-wet big soft badger brush
1.5 tsp water to build the lather
= 5 passes of lather.

Thoroughly enjoying the soft tips and medium backbone of this brush.

*Shave Quality*
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: Felt blade but comfortable
Neck: Felt blade but comfortable
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Cut flush to where I just see the tips (above average for me)
