In this installment of CASA Choices, CASA of the Tenth Judicial Circuit is honored to have Mary Jo Papich to discuss careers in music and the arts.
Mary Jo Papich, known for her passion for music education, is co-founder and first president of the Jazz Education Network which has membership in all U.S. states and 40+ countries. Through her efforts in JEN outreach, over 100,000 people of all ages all over the country have experienced America's art form. While serving as the Fine Arts Coordinator for the Peoria Public School System, Papich founded and directed the Peoria Jazz All Stars, whose performances included numerous jazz festivals as well as other state and local events. She currently serves on the board of ArtsPartners of Central Illinois.
